Shimousanokuni

The only all-handmade Kanto beef sword in Japan designated as a traditional craft designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and a traditional craft designated by Chiba Prefecture.
It is a handmade Western knife with a soul by a blacksmith who inherited the traditional technique of a blacksmith from ancient Japan. Using the finest steel material, blank paper No. 1, which is now difficult to obtain, the brand is "Shimosa Province" as a traditional craft that represents Chiba Prefecture.
It is one of the most rare and supreme products produced by the Kanto beef sword craftsman, who is the only one in Japan.

As the post-war reconstruction progresses and Western food culture permeates in Japan, demand for Western knives such as beef knives will rapidly increase, and beef sword making in the Kanto region will flourish.
During the prosperity of chef's knife making in the Kanto region, nearly 20 skilled blacksmiths such as Masatsugu (Kanmori Eiji), Masakin, Masamune, and Murasada emerged. Musashi Kunimitsu Tsukisaku has changed due to the fact that Goka Knife Mfg. Co., Ltd., which inherited the manufacturing technology with Masatsugu (Kanmori Eiji) as the master, does not mechanize even about 30 years after its release and sticks to the total handicraft (total fire) manufacturing method. No traditional technique and reliable quality, Kanto beef sword designated as a traditional craft designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and a traditional craft designated by Chiba Prefecture.

ZA18
